Lindsey's Favorites: Simple & Delicious Breakfast Casserole

This week’s post features one of Lindsey and Bret’s favorite breakfast recipes. We decided to cook it up for ourselves Saturday morning and it was delicious!

This simple casserole recipe has a short ingredient list and everyone in your family will love it. It’s hearty and savory, perfect for a Saturday morning breakfast for family or friends.

We decided to add some scrambled eggs and fruit to the plate for some additional variety (and we love scrambled eggs and fruit for any breakfast). If your crew likes it spicy, grab the HOT sausage for a little extra kick.

You can also add anything you want to the recipe to truly make it your own, so have fun with it and enjoy.

Ingredients:

1lb breakfast sausage

2 cans crescent rolls

1 (8oz) package cream cheese (softened)

 ____________

Directions:

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2: Brown the sausage on the stove

Step 3: Drain grease from sausage and combine with cream cheese

Step 4: Flatten one can of crescent rolls (without separating) in the bottom of a 9x11 pan and bake in the oven for 5 minutes. Remove pan from the oven and spread the sausage and cream cheese mixture on top of the first layer of crescent rolls. Then, spread the second can of crescent rolls on top (again, without separating)

Step 5: Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees until the crescents are golden brown.

Step 6: Enjoy! Tag @ryanandrose on Instagram and show us how you're enjoy this recipe.
