Voluntary Safety Recall
Dear Valued Customer,
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Ryan & Rose is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall of all Cutie Spoovels due to a choking hazard. Specifically, the handle of the Cutie Spoovel, a children’s eating utensil, can break off, releasing small parts, posing a choking hazard for young children. These utensils were sold from April 2021 to July 2021.
What do we need you to do? Step 1: Consumers should immediately take the recalled utensil away from children and dispose of it.
Step 2: Consumers should then contact Ryan & Rose for a refund or credit via one of the communication channels below:
- Fill out and submit the online refund form, which can be found here.
- Call toll-free at 1-800-317-8764 from 8am - 4pm CST, Monday through Friday.
Step 3: To request a refund or credit you will need to supply the following on the refund form found here.
Step 4: Once we receive your information, we will issue you a full refund via reimbursement in the form of payment issued at the time of purchase (please allow 2-10 days to see this reversal cleared on your end) or a $20 credit to purchase merchandise at www.ryanandrose.co, depending on your preference.

How can I tell if my Cutie Spoovel is affected by this recall? All Cutie Spoovels purchased after April 2021 are affected. The spoon is imprinted with “Cutie Spoovel” and the handle says “R & R”.
How can I take advantage of the recall? You can contact Ryan & Rose for a refund or credit by filling out a voluntary recall form here or call toll-free at 1-800-317-8764 from 8am - 4pm CST, Monday through Friday.
What is the problem with my Cutie Spoovel? Ryan and Rose has received three reports of the Cutie Spoovel handle breaking when a child bit down on it releasing small parts, posing a choking hazard for young children.
My Cutie Spoovel appears ro be operating okay. Can I continue to use it? No. Even though your product appears to be safe, we are asking all customers to immediately stop using the product and participate in the recall by discarding the product and contacting us for a full refund or a $20 credit to purchase merchandise on our website.
Will I receive a refund for the product? Yes, you have the choice of a full refund or a $20 shop credit to purchase merchandise on our website.
I no longer have the receipt for the product. Can I still return it? Yes, you can still participate in the recall without a receipt but please discard the product and contact us for either a full refund or a $20 shop credit that can be used to purchase merchandise on our website.
How long will it take for me to receive the refund/shop credit? Once we receive your information, we will issue you a full refund via reimbursmenet in the form of payment issued at the time of purchase (plesae allow 2-10 days to see this reversal cleared on your end) or a $20 credit to purchase merchandise on the company’s website, depending on your preference. We apologize for any inconvenience, and assure you we are working to process the requests for reimbursement or store credit as quickly as possible.
